Sunday celebrations

Sundays are always a celebration at our church.

We meet at Great Hollands Primary School in Bracknell.

Please see our Find us page for the address and directions to the school.

Doors open at 10 am for people who want to pray or help set up.

The main event starts at 10.30 am.

We worship our wonderful God with songs and prayers, led by our Worship Team:

Playing keyboard, guitar and trumpet.

And then we have an opportunity to pray for people and situations that are important to us.

After this - the young people go to their own meeting: One 2 Free.

(Unless we are having an All Age Celebration - in which case they stay in with us.)

Then we learn together from the Bible.

Even if you are new to church, you should find our teaching time easy to understand and engaging:

We don’t use complicated words - and you can always ask questions at the end.

After learning together from the Bible - we worship our wonderful God again.

And then we meet up to relax at Freedom Café.

Every Sunday is a celebration.

We call our Sunday meetings "celebrations" rather than "services" because we believe that God wants to set us free to celebrate his love. For more about celebration - please see our Free to celebrate page.

If you want to know what we have planned for a particular Sunday celebration (service) - please see our calendar.

Freedom Café

Our Freedom Café is open between 12.00 and 12.30 pm where coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cold drinks are served - together with biscuits or cakes.

This is a great time to relax, make new friends and ask all your questions.

All Age Sunday Celebrations

We love children and we love families.

Most weeks the children go out to One 2 Free before we start the adult's teaching session.

Occasionally we hold All Age Celebrations instead.

On these Sundays we celebrate and learn together as the whole church family.

This is great for the children, and it is great for the adults too.

There is real value in learning together - with people of all ages.

We have lots going on designed to be engaging for the children - but the adults learn so much in this environment too.

Children are often more honest than adults - so the learning experience can be a 2 way thing.

We often send out questions to the children and their parents, by E-mail ahead of time.

We love to encourage parents and children to read and discuss the Bible together.

We then explore the questions together with them, at the All Age Celebration.

This is a great expression of our belief, that teaching our children is a joint responsibility between parents and the church.

One 2 Free

We all know how important it is for our children to learn the basics at school.

Literacy, numeracy, science, music and sport.

History, geography, drama and even finance.

They are all so key for life.

And at One 2 Free we learn the basics of following Jesus.

He is the source of true LIFE.

We are One 2 Free - because Jesus sets us free.

We are never too young to learn about the freedom that Jesus offers us.

And we do that in a fun and interactive way:

  • We learn from the Bible.
  • We sing songs together.
  • We play plenty of games.
  • We do loads of craft activities.

If you are aged between three and fourteen: One 2 Free is for you.

We divide into different age groups as appropriate.

(One 2 Free meets on most Sundays throughout the year - but not on every Sunday. Please check our calendar for more details)

Sunday Fun Days

Fun, Food, Friends - Family.

That’s what we mean by a Sunday Fun Day.

We start with an All Age Celebration in the morning and then stay on until about 4 pm.

There is always plenty to eat as well as loads of games and competitions.

If you prefer to sit and chat - that is possible too.

Our Sunday Fun Days are a great expression of our Church family.

Whatever our age - they give us an opportunity to relax, have fun, and get to know each other.
