Part 1: Building your character
James identifying himself as a humble slave, describes in the first 8 verses of his epistle, how to be a perfect work in the eyes of God. He then goes on to describe God’s promise of giving wisdom to those who ask, but, only asking with the right motivation.
James 1:9-18 The sermon is about how easy it is for us humans to go off the path (God’s way) and do our ‘own thing’. The analogy was made about an MOT and reading the Bible, to make sure we are equipped to handle trials and hardships
