Series: The journey to the ascension
Jesus passes through Jericho on his way to Jerusalem and arrives at the temple.
Opinions are divided.
Some people hang on his every word.
Others want to hang him on a cross.

Jesus did not come to be treated as a celebrity.
He came to serve, and to give up his life as a ransom for many.
Jesus is still in the temple, and he is delivering some key teaching.

And we end by noting that we should also give God, the best part of our day.
Judas betrays Jesus.
Jesus talks about his body and his blood.
Peter denies even knowing Jesus.
And if we take a closer look, there are so many aspects that apply to us.
This is our Good Friday message.
We look at everything that happened, according to Luke, on that memorable Friday, starting with the words: At daybreak ...
This is our message for Resurrection Sunday.
We did things differently this morning, by giving over a lot of our teaching time to an interview with our young people.
You can see the questions that we looked at in slides 1-7 but we have not included the audio recording of this interview.
This was followed by a very short message which was accompanied by slide 8.
